How often Should I be Watering My Seeds?

Water your seeds when the soil pellet turns slightly brown in colour, this indicates that the soil is becoming dry. The seeds need moisture from the soil in order to grow. We would suggest to lightly spray them with your water spray one to two times weekly.

Where Should I keep My Kawakawa Seed Pot while it grows?

We recommend to keep your seedling pot out of direct sunlight, but somewhere that gets a lot of indirect light that is warm. We don't suggest having them in full shade. Somewhere on a windowsill that doesn't get direct sunlight is great!

When Should I Remove The Seed Incubator Lid?

You should remove your incubation lid once you can see the Kawakawa breaking through the soils surface. This is so it can get air passing through to increase the growth.

How long will it take to see my Kawakawa appear from the soil?

Your Kawakawa should begin to grow after 2-3 weeks with the right care. Be sure to keep the soil damp and make sure it has light! If your Kawakawa hasn't sprouted after 4 weeks don't be discouraged. Winter months can delay the growth rate too.
