Kawakawa has amazing anti-inflammatory properties. This tea has amazing support towards a healthy immune system, improving digestion, and reducing inflammation throughout the body.
Step 1:
Harvest your Kawakawa! Pick 4-5 leaves from your Kawakawa bush. Making sure to pick the larger leaves instead of the new baby leaves.

Step 2:
In a medium sized saucepan, pour 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Once the water is almost to a boil, submerge your Kawakawa leaves into the water.

Step 3:
Optional: Add honey and/ or ginger to your tea for flavour, We recommend to skip this if it is your first time trying Kawakawa tea to taste the full flavours from the Kawakawa leaf.
However these ingredients provide an additional flavour which compliment the Kawakawa well.

Step 4:
Boil the leaves in the water for 10 minutes.
Step 5:
Strain the leaves out, Pour and enjoy!
